Two taps, left and right, plus straight-handle tap wrench.
Use for bicycle crank-arms, to chase the pedal threads. The tap labeled “L” is for the reverse-threaded crank arm on the left side as you ride or stand over the bike.
Intended application: cleaning up existing threads in the cranks -- versus cutting new from scratch and/or preparing to install a bushing kit.
We found one how-to video on YouTube:
It is best to use cutting oil while chasing the threads. Regular oil will do -- even 3-in-1 -- if you don't have cutting oil. But you must use oil!
